Conserving the past. Enabling the future.

Overview

The Heritage Office came to me with an established consultancy and a very basic website, looking to elevate the business as it moved into its next stage of growth. The project involved creating a completely new brand identity and website, alongside supporting materials including business cards and a professional report template. The aim was to create a more considered and cohesive brand that reflected the expertise and ambition behind the consultancy. Drawing subtle inspiration from architectural detailing, traditional drafting and the materiality of the built heritage environment, the new identity balances heritage with a clean, contemporary approach.

The Challenge

The Heritage Office had the expertise and experience, but its existing brand presence didn't fully reflect the quality or professionalism of the consultancy. The challenge was to create an identity that felt established and authoritative without becoming overly traditional. It needed to communicate specialist knowledge and precision while still feeling modern, approachable and distinctive. A key part of the project was also ensuring the new identity could work consistently across every touchpoint, from the website and business cards to formal reports and planning documentation.

The Outcome

The result is a complete brand identity that gives The Heritage Office a stronger, more confident presence as it continues to grow. A refined logo, considered colour palette and structured typography create a distinctive visual language, while the new website provides a clear and professional platform for communicating the consultancy's services and expertise. The identity has also been carried through into business cards and report templates, creating a consistent experience across both digital and printed materials. The result is a contemporary consultancy brand that feels rooted in the heritage sector, while positioning The Heritage Office confidently for the future.
